According to"the syllabus of physical education and Health"promulgated by Ministry of Education in december,2000 for full-time middle schools and the teaching goal of"health first"at the same time as an important part of school education physical Education must enhance the health of students in its practice.The school-based curriculum developed by schools can also improve students'physical fitness and health.Since"physical education and heatth curriculum standards"promulgated and tried all over the nation in july,2001,the curriculum reform of physical education and health has comprehensively deepened and come into a new denelopment phage. Class-teaching is not only a basic organizatiom form in PE teaching,but also a main channel for quality educanion implementation.As a teaching goal,health education needs a variety of ways to attain and physical Education is an unique and effective method.Integrating physical education and health as a new coures,this indicates the comprehensivity of subjects and the close relationship between PE and heatth,and this makes the education-teaching goals easily reached.Unfortunately,at present,PE and health course can't cover all the contents that health education contains.PE study-evaluation is the main point of education reform,we estimate scientificly the"PE and health"scores of students through it.Evaluation is an effective method in promoting students'PE study and sport involment.PE study-evaluation includes the content of evaluation,the main body of evaluation,the method and criterion of evaluation.Evaluation not only concerns the scores,but more importantly, it can develop the potentials of students and help them construct confidence and serve society.This thesis mainly studies the school-based surriculum difference between Jilin and Zhejiang province ,from evaluation contents ,evaluation methods,evaluation standards of the PE and health course to teacher'professional quality,climate condition ,the relationship between teachers and students and so on.All these research results will have an positive influence on the curriculum reform of PE and health in theory and proctive. According to the research,we can drow the following conclusions:(1) The contents of"PE and health"course of middle schools in Jilin province are singler and more boring than those of Zhejiang province.(2) Jilin province has made the contents of"PE and health"course of middle schools without considering its area and climade conditions,nevertheless,Zhejiang proviince considerates its area and climateconditions.(3) As for the evaluation principle,Jilin province has adopted the traditional method and no attention to the following aspects:students'weaknesses,unreasonable course,the limited right of seleting course,direct conclusion-evaluation to students and compulsory teaching of the teachers.Therefore,it largely weakens students'enthusiasm.In zhejiang province,schools offer required course and elective courses,students can select their interesting courses,therefore students show large enthusiam for study.More important,evaluation method is multiple and scientific,including students'self-evaluation,group evaluation,progress and conclusion evaluation.(4) Teacher'quality have an influence on students'interest in the"PE and health"course.Teacher'behaviors affect directly the interest of students,and their professional quality even has abigger effect on students.
