United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization recent years'Department concerned memoir explicitly proposed that the teacher is one of successful or not two key aspects when summary educational reform successful experience. How regardless to emphasize the teacher quality the importance not to be able excessively, various countries' government should confirm the elementary education teachers' importance diligently, the educational reform never succeed without the teacher participation. Obviously, teacher's quality plays the very important role to the entire education. Therefore various countries' government take seriously to educate, the teacher occupation follows the human society the production to produce, But trains the school teacher specially to have more than 300 years history. Our country proposed explicitly the teacher career development question and pays attention is the near time matter ,this is not only the big background influence which the world teacher educates emerges vigorously, but also the inevitable demand of our country educates development. The teacher career development is being paid attention by the theorist, the policy-maker and the general teachers.Looking from the teacher career development's general trend, the teacher career development and the research experienced from have been neglected to being paid attention to gradually, from paying attention to the teacher community career development to change to paying attention to the teacher individual career development, Along with people to individual independent gradual understanding, Teacher career development is also from teacher individual passive development to initiative development. The so-called teacher individual's initiative development is also the teacher independent professional development ,teacher's independent professional development is one kind of endogenous development, the need to develop and the power come from the teacher, and the teacher determines the development targets, development the study resources, design development strategy, appraisal study result independently. This kind of independent development requests the teacher formidable psychology support, Therefore we need to understand teacher's occupational psychology to promote teacher's independent development. But the present domestic and foreign scholars mainly concentrate about the teacher independent professional development's fundamental research in the necessity of teacher independent professional development and so on connotation, characteristic as well as implementation way, very little has the scholar to conduct the deep research to the teacher independent professional development psychological basis. However, the teacher professional self-concept has contained the teacher's understanding to the teacher occupation and own each aspect,which is the teacher independent professional development's solid psychological basis, therefore this research topic is"Research on independent professional development under teacher's professional self-concept.", mainly elaborates the teacher professional self-concept is the key of independent professional development, as well as how to promote the teacher professional self-concept development, giveing the supplement by the time to the present teacher independent professional development theory.Moreover, through instructing the teacher individual, the teacher educational institution and the middle school , this research's practice value mainly displays in three aspects: First, this research causes the teacher individual to realize oneself function in the professional development, stimulates them to seek independent development power, makes them have a clear understanding to how to promote own development .Next, this research makes the teacher educational institution to realize that the teacher professional self-concept is the key of the teacher professional development, and had understood how the teacher professional self-concept does affect the independent professional development, this will enable the teacher educational institution to coordinate teacher's independent professional development well . Finally, this research makes the school leader realize that What school development depending on is the teacher, the school should according to teacher's development need, provides more freedoms and the time for teacher's independent professional development, and arranges suitable training to coordinate teacher's independent development.In view of the fact, first, in profits from the self-concept, the professional self-concept and so on the correlation theories foundation, unifying the teacher occupation the characteristic, summary"the teacher professional self-concept". Next, we have proven that the teacher professional self-concept influenced the teacher independent professional development. Third, discuss measures to promote the teacher professional self-concept effective development, hoping that through developing the teacher professional self-concept to further promote the teacher independent professional development.This article is divided four parts:The first part, summarized briefly the selected topic original intention, the research value, and introduced the research mentality and the research techniques.The second part, first summarized the teacher independent professional development connotation and the characteristic; Next, Has carried on systematically summary to the self-concept and the professional self-concept's related theory, including theirs connotation, structure, function and development; Finally, in profits from the above theories summarizes the teacher professional self-concept as well as its structure, the function and the development.The third part, Elaborated the teacher professional self-concept had influence on the teacher independent professional development. First, the teacher professional self-concept guides the teacher to know the necessity of independent professional development. Second, the teacher professional self-concept guides the teacher to be clear about the goal of the independent career development. Third, the teacher professional self-concept guides the teacher to work out individual professional development plan.The fourth part, proposed the strategies to promotes the teacher professional self-concept effective development, including the active learning, the education scientific research, the teaching reconsideration and the teacher cooperates.
