Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System, As the basic platform of online Teaching Study and Discussion, which quality impact on teaching research effect, and related to the development of teaching research theory and practice. Onlie teaching Study and Discussion are organized and developed by some local edueational departments, early experience, however showed that it is necessary to carry on the system investigation from theoretical and practical aspect for the absenee of therelated experience.The vital of Knowledge Management is knowledge sharing effectively, which is an important approach for the ability of knowledge innovation and important measure to acquire the advantage of competition. They are different, but have a same goal: Promote knowledge sharing, further promote personal diathesis and organizational intelligence. They have their own characteristic, but they can help and integrate each other.The main objective of this thesis is proposes a design of Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System, the idea behind this system is to integrate knowledge management with a online Teaching Study and Discussion. Dawning up on the experience of prior knowledge management projects and theories of knowledge sharing, this thesis proposes a design of Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System, which enabling knowledge capture,retrieval and share as an online Teaching Study and Discussion proceeds in the Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System environment. Three case studies in real-life teacher orgnizational settings were performed to apple the system prototype, to build a Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System, and finally to implement the system for an orgnizational process. The experience, lessons learned and user feedback from these cases studied were proved the validity of this system.This thesis is divided in Severn chapters: Chapter one introduce the background, purpose, contents, meaning, clue and methords of the research; Explaining the importance of Design Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System Based on Knowledge Management in the time of Information Age. Chapter two offers some relative definitions about knowledge mana- gement and makes analyzes of successful knowledge management cases. Chapter three mainly makes an investigation of the corrent Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System, then analyzes and comments on the problems existed. Based on the data which are gained by the investigation and analysis in the third chapter, Chapter four design the Network-based Teaching Study and Discussion System based on knowledge management. Chapter five introduce how design and achieve the system, includes the make models which apply UML, ket technology and the final achieved functions. Chapter six introduces the experience, lessons learned and user feedbacks from these cases studied which proved the validity of this system. Chapter serven summarizes the whole thesis and come up with the next step research work.
