Network course as the most basic education network teaching unit, is the key of network educational resource construction, which has played an important role in promoting modern distance education and course integration. After years of development, the network course construction has made great achievements. But in the actual use of the network course, there are some problems:a single course knowledge organization, the lack of nonlinear structure in course resource navigation, difficulty in searching resources, the lack of tacit knowledge sharing. These problems reflected in the course of resources construction mainly in several ways. First of all, the resources content is messy, and lack of unified standard. Second, the navigation system is not strong. As a result of that, learners are easy to get lost. In addition, the resources are lack of evaluation and feedback.According to that, it is very necessary to take a feasible solution that construct network course resources reasonably and make limited resources available and sharing. This article introducts the knowledge management theory and its tools knowledge map to solve these problems from existing problems in the construction of network course resource.Knowledge management is a process that transform information into knowledge, and get knowledge and people linked. That is the knowledge management which can facilitate the knowledge acquisition, utilization and innovation. Getting knowledge management theory into the process of network course resources construction can make unified classification and organization of course resource, and present it to learner reasonably. It is a process that can make its quick and effective transfer to learner, so as to optimize the knowledge sharing mechanism and promote the application and innovation of knowledge.Knowledge map as a navigation system, which uses visualization technology to display the relationship between knowledges can help user quickly find the knowledge which they need. Knowledge map can present knowledge in the process of resource knowledge management, which not only make learner get knowledge structure and form understood, also can make them positioning knowledge rapidly, and get relevant resources to develop learning.Firstly, the author stated the background and significance of the research project, and then analyzed the status of domestic and foreign researches, and then proposed the research subjects and methods. Secondly, the author introduced the related concepts and learning theories. Thirdly, under the guidance of related learning theory, the author analyzed how to manage the network course resource from three parts: classification methods, organization form, navigation strategy. Fourthly, taking modern education technology network course as an example, the author managed the resources of the course from resource organization and resource present, and drew the knowledge map to present the course structure and resources. Finally, after the trial of knowledge map, the author figured out a questionnaire, aiming at assessing the affects knowledge map brought about, and analyzed the feedback received, in order to further improve the knowledge map. It showed that:navigation capability is satisfaction, but the lack of return andsearch function needed to be further improved.
