The application of Dialogue theory in Chinese teaching has become the bright spot of the new curriculum reform. However, most of the researches so far focus on Chinese reading teaching. Composition teaching is an essential part of Chinese teaching and the dialogue teaching of composition needs to be seriously considered. Since researches on this aspect have been in the exploring stage, the dialogism of composition itself and composition teaching has not been systematically studied and few operable classroom designs are proposed. Therefore, this paper does research on dialogue teaching and classroom design in composition teaching.This thesis mainly focuses on six parts on the basis of document study and case analysis:Part1: Dialogism of composition teaching. Analyze the dialogism of composition teaching from dialogue to composition.Part2: Hiding and manifestation of dialogism. Discuss and analyze the features and reasons of the hiding dialogism and naturally put forward the composition dialogue teaching.Parti: Essence of composition dialogue teaching. Composition dialogue teaching is an innovative teaching method by acquiring dialogue from dialogue itself and elevating the value of language on the basis of democratic, equal, mutual respecting and trusting relationship between teachers and students, its essence is a kind of teaching method paying attention to the dialogue between the participants, advocating entertainment and spirit of creativity and pursuing the value of language itself. It owns several characteristics: teaching for acquisition of dialogue; open and evoking teaching situation; teaching procedure of self-experiencing and sharing; mutual practice between teachers and students; teaching evaluation about entirety, process and multi-body; classroom practices composed by creative dialogue, evoked dialogue and comprehensible dialogue.Part4: Classroom practice form of composition dialogue teaching. Propose creative dialogue, evoked dialogue and comprehensible dialogue according to the particularity of composition dialogue teachingPart5: "Four-stage and eight-step" classroom design of composition dialogue teaching. Analyze the central idea and basic principle of classroom design. Furthermore, discuss the frame of the design and put forward the fundamental procedure of the "four-stage and eight-step"classroom design: Preparing stage (situation design and first dialogue)—forming stage (write by students themselves, immediate dialogue)—feedback stage (text exploration, deep dialogue)—completing stage (revise and final dialogue).Part6: Cases of "four-stage and eight-step"classroom design in composition dialogue teaching and analysis. According to the typical class teaching in primary and middle schools, analyze and verify "four-stage and eight-step"classroom design: follow the rules of composition teaching and manifest the particularity of composition dialogue teaching and realize its operability.
