At present, China's social and economic situation is undergoing profound changes, reforms are developing in depth and speed up the pace of overall progress and the slogan of harmonious development and building a saving society is implemented step by step. The socialist market economy is meeting the challenges of economic globalization, and high-tech industry with the characteristics of knowledge-based economy is rising rapidly. Education, as a social superstructure, is undoubtedly impacted by in the social background, and its own reform and development are faced with opportunities and challenges. Under such circumstances, every university teachers should recall the late course, conscientiously sum up past experience, have more international comparison of education vision, learn and understand the reform experience of other countries, grasp the pulse of the development of teachers management, explore the measures of university teachers management under the new situation, and greet the challenges of the development of China's higher education in the new century to the teachers management. This paper first introduces South Korean university teachers management system and operational mechanism and sums up the characteristics and problems of South Korean university teachers management. At the same time, the status and existing problems of China's university teachers management are explored. On the basis of positive factors in the Korean university teachers management, the author proposes a solution to the problem, in the expectation of providing a guidance to China's university teachers management.This paper is divided into five chapters, namely, the changes of South Korean university teachers management, the South Korean university teachers management system, the incentive and protective mechanisms of South Korean University teachers, an analysis of the characteristics of South Korean university teachers management, and the enlightenments of South Korean university teachers management to China. The content is as follows:Chapter One explores the changes of South Korean university teachers management from the two aspects of the development of its higher education and changes of its university teachers management, and then introduces its university teachers management system.Chapter Two deals with South Korean university teachers management system from the two aspects of its university teachers management and its management system, with a focus on qualification system, appointment system, and evaluation system.Chapter Three introduces the rights and obligations of university teachers and then the incentive and guarantee mechanism. Chapter Four analyzes the problems of South Korean university teachers management as well as its characteristics.The last chapter analyzes the status of existing problems of China's university teachers management, probes the enlightenments of South Korean university teachers management to China's ongoing reform of university teachers management, and proposes the author's own viewpoints on how to implement the complex and systematic reform project.
