The modern distance education project of country elementary and middle schools is an important project about country elementary informatization until now, and also is an important action of realizing the great-leap-forward development of rural education. Our country has offered three kinds of mode with corresponding equipments for this. Utilize the good resources provided by these equipment to launch the teacher-training activity in order to improve teaching quality and realize the great-leap-forward development of rural education which is a focal point of the whole work. By the way of consulting documents, questionnaires, action research, experimental research, discussing with others, this article focused on teacher training project of rural modern distance education project in Hubei province, and designed the systematic evaluation index of performance. Then author analyzed the result of the performance appraisal, summary the application experience and problems about teacher training project of rural modern distance education project in Hubei province, and provided suggestions for improving the performance of teacher training in country elementary and middle schools.Chapter 1 analyzed the research's background and significance, introduced briefly the projects related to this research, the things done, the results achieved during the graduate life. Based on the research of performance, performance evaluation, current teacher training performance research in our country or foreign countries, the author analyzed current situation about the research. Finally, this part analyzed the points and the key problems to be resolved .Chapter 2 introduced briefly the teacher training of rural modern distance education project in Hubei province, analyzed the research methods, the path and the feasibility ,and then introduced the course of the research. Also this part investigate the current ability of the students, and do a good job for needs analysis before the training.Chapter 3 defined the connotation of teacher training of rural modern distance education project, designed the teacher training systematic evaluation index of performance , determined the performance evaluation model, and distributed the indicators weight using AHP. Chapter 4 evaluated the teacher training project from project management, the trainees perspective by the performance evaluation index system established, and then gave comprehensive performance evaluation.Chapter 5 analyzed the experience and problems of the teacher training project, and discussed the strategy for improving the teacher training performance of rural modern distance education project.Chapter 6 concluded the results of performance, hope to provide reference for the follow-up work through this research, and to maximize the teacher training performance.
