A Study On The Performance Evaluation System Of College Counselors Work

As the important part of college teacher team and student management team, college counselors are the cadreman of the work of moral education and ideological and political education and the guide and director of college student. With the development of the society and the education position, it gives higher requirement to the college counselors. So, how to improve the entire ability of college counselors and boost the construction of counselor team is becoming an important factual problem. Performance evaluation of counselor work is an important content and method of strengthening the construction of counselor team, it is also the important measure to evaluate the performance of counselor work and accelerate the counselors to realize self-perfection.At the beginning of building counselor system, we take measures to evaluate counselor work. Presently, though mostly college constructs the evaluation system of counselor work, the system has some disadvantages in the institutionalization standardization and scientification. So, construct a scientific and effective evaluation system of counselor work is very important. This is the question for discussion in the paper.The paper introduces the theory of performance evaluation into the evaluation of counselor work, and builds the idea of performance evaluation of counselor work and constructs an entire system of performance evaluation of counselor work. It provides the basis for the selection, cultivation and management, and also gives an advance to confirm the duty and development direction of counselor work, and boost up the effect of counselor work and upgrade the ability of counselors. So, the study has a very important value of the theory and the practice.Based on analysing the significance,basement and principle of performance evaluation of counselor work, the paper focuses on construction of the system of performance evaluation of counselor work. At first, it demonstrates the criterion structure of the system of performance evaluation, and confirms index and points of evaluation, then discusses the criterion and scale of performance evaluation. As to the feedback of the evaluation's outcome, the paper thinks that it should give the feedback to the counselor and apply to the evaluation of counselor work.In order to realize the maneuverability of performance evaluation of counselor work, the paper frames an entire scheme of performance evaluation of counselor work. It is the scheme of performance evaluation of counselor work for XX University in the appendix.
