Study On The Values' Education Of College Students

In today's China, the education of values is not only a subject of vital importance theoretically, but also an urgent one to be solved in practice. The construction of harmonious society has not only brought about a new challenge for the traditional values, but also presented a new angle of view for the education of values, because this issue is closely related to our nation's rise and fall in the future, to the stability and development of our society and to everybody's comprehensive growth. College students are a unique youth group. They are the reserve force and successors for the development of our society and the future and hope of our nation. How to realize and examine the education of college students' values and how to find the effective ways and measures is a pressing problem, in that it is a significant issue for training the qualified socialism builders and the reliable successors of the socialism cause. This paper analyzes the existing problems and their causes in the current education of college students' values from such characteristics of the socialist harmonious society as follows: basic features, aim direction, construction process, the connotation of values, the importance and necessity of the education for values; then explores the effective measures to improve and strengthen the education of college students' values. So, the characteristics and rules of strengthening the education of college students' values are profoundly revealed.
