A healthy mentality is an essential component among the qualities of a person , and one of the significant items for the future intellects. Without a healthy mentality, it is hard for one to tackle the tierce social competitions which are striking our middle school campus constantly. Thus bringing more challenges to the mental health of the middle school students. In our common life, we frequently see or hear students'abominating or discontinuing their studying, conflicting with parents, running away from home and puppy love, Particularly,"middle school students committing suicide"takes place repentedly, which should have occurred twice within 100 days in senior of our school; with makes us greatly concerned about the mental health of the middle school students. Teachers, schools and the whole society should attach serious importance to improving the mental healthy of middle school students.This thesis consists of five parts:Part 1. Putting out the question. Through the occurrence of the malignant events in our school and the revevant reports nationwide, the thesis states that teachers and schools should be highly concerned with the mental healthy of the middle school students. The thesis also illustrates the definition and abnormity. It is explicitly pointed out that one of the effective means of improving the mental health education into the high school mathematical teaching.Part 2. Literaturereview. Here the concepts and tasks of mentality and mental education are indicated respectively. The related works of psychology, pedagogy and mentality education are used as reference to make the differences and connections between them clear. Besides, through the study and analysis of achievements on mental education, the author here issued the direction of her research: to penetrate mentality education through high school mathematical education.Part 3. To make clear the feasibility of penetrating mentality education through high school mathematical education, the thesis analogizes the main mental characters of high school students. Based on the analysis the main content and principles that should be observed during the process of mentality education are pointed out: holistic principle, subjective principle, practical principle ,effective principle and operational principle.Part 4. A mental health test was held at random on 500 high school students in our school, the result of which was analogized and discussed, And the following conclusion was drawn; school should care about all the students'mental health, manage to improve it and explore subject infilitrath and so on .Part 5. By penetrating mental health education into the high school mathematical teaching, some common methods and operational principles are discussed to explore how to practive mental health education through high school mathematical teaching, That is, we should develop in class the students'intelligence, and their non-intelligent factors as well in order that students can develop healthy mentality. Finally, the author discussed how a mathematical teacher. Performs mental health education to assist the headteacher. after class, with is complementary to the whole of school's psychology tutors.Through library research questionnaire investigation and interviews, a primarch has been conducted on how to penetrate mental health education into high school mathematical teaching and the following conclusion is obtained:(1) The problems on middle school students'mental health cannot be neglected and their mental health is to be improve urgently.(2) It's necessary to carry out the mental health combined by the mathematical teaching. It has practical significance to do this research.(3) This thesis suggests that it is feasible and effective to penetrate mental health education into the mathematical teaching. This research is conducted in the situation of our school, therefore the regulations maybe only suitable for our school and the ones similar to it limitations.
