The connection problem for education between primary school and middle school is often a neglected but practical problem. In fact there are quite a few students, they had good results in primary school, but expose all kinds of problems in their study after entering junior middle school, and have a downslided results, and further loss their interests in study. Therefore how to help the students smoothly transit their study from primary school stage to junior middle school stage should become a problem to be paid attention to and to be solved for the educational circles at the moment. Aiming at the language teaching connection problem of the grade one of junior middle school, based on the present actual disjunction of language teaching and the objective differences between primary school and middle school, as well as the growing features of grade one freshes, this article has a research proceeding with the conception of "connecting" and indicates that while strengthening the knowlodgy learnt it's suitable to adopt a helical ascending form in language teaching to grade one, letting the student have a qualitative breakthrough in conception, way of thinking and study method and let them possess independent thinking ability gradually . Based on the analysis author put forward the practical consideration on language teaching connection problem of grade one primarily in both sides of reading and composition. The article has a more detailed discussion from the antecedent preparation to the application of the practical connecting methods.
