The theory of multiple intelligence is one of the most influential educational psychological theories since the 1990's .With the concerns on the development of student's healthy personality by modern education and the spread of the new course concept, multiple intelligence theory is becoming prominent day-by-day. Based on analyzing the theory and understanding its intention, this text made some impact on developing multiple intelligence in mathematics lessons at high school, and seeked some teaching tactics as follows after considering the content of the high school mathematics course and the student's characteristics:create an environment of using mathematical terms to express maths problems to develop students'linguistic intelligence; train the students to use the skill of logical reasoning to solve the problems so as to grow their logical intelligence ; design"musical atmosphere"and"suggestion theory"to advance their musical intelligence;practise"group work"and"role play"to progress the intelligence of the cooperation;develop the students'visual intelligence with the help of CAD and mathematical models;guide students to write an evaluation by themselves to increase the intelligence of self-appraisal.Based on the current status of mathematics teaching ,and combining this with the new teaching concepts and the demand for reform of class teaching, I related the theory to practice, and adopted the ways like questionnaire survey, teaching case study (live record of public classes). After one year of application,I got very good feedback. Compared with traditional way of teaching ,the new one provides the students with more chances to be involved in teaching. Certainly, their interest in study and their self-confidence have improved a lot as well.
