A Study On The Teaching Management For The Independent Colleges Of Hunan

As a kind of new education form, Independent Colleges popularized through the whole country in a few years. And there are 315 Independent Colleges which hold more than 1 million students on campus. It has already become a part which can not be ignored in higher education. In order to enlarge the scale of higher education, Hunan originate Independent Colleges aspiringly, there are 15 Independent Colleges which have already bring up a great deal of students. Most of these students hold a high level in application study. However, as a fresh man, Independent Colleges have no experience to copy, induce their teaching management can not follow the spreading of their recruitment, which lead the teaching quality emergence problems.The thesis in allusion to this phenomena, adopt the management theoretic of William Edwards Deming, so called "Deming ring" , and handle the tactics that the theoretical research combines with positive research, make a study on the teaching management of 15 Independent Colleges in Hunan province. First, the thesis discusses of teaching management of the independent colleges from three aspects: the teaching plan management, the teaching course management and teaching estimate management, and shows the status quo of them. Secondly, point out the teaching management of independent colleges in Hunan presents some active aspects such as trying to meet the requirements of social development and also shows some weak points that need improvement, and embody the problems and the reasons of them. At last, the paper makes a rational reflection to the teaching management and correlated questions. At the end, the paper puts forward some advice that will improve the teaching management problem in Hunan. Such as update teaching manage concept, construct full-time teachers, people oriented treating students, consummate teaching manage system and perfect teaching monitor system.
