Research On The Archives Management Of Private Colleges In Hunan Province

The management of archives is an important basic work for the management of private college,and also an objective requirement to promote the management level of private college and improve the running level of private education service system.As an integral part of the national archives,the archives of private college should archive their function and value in management.However,there are still many problems in the archives management of private college in China,which have impeded the successful development of the archives management of private college,and also hindered the development of private college.Therefore,how to improve the archives management of private college is a practical problem which the archival field and relevant administrative departments should urgently pay attention to and solve.Basing on literature research,the paper defines the connotation of private college's archives,and expounds the unique characteristics of private college's archives,ambiguity of property rights,autonomous management,efficiency and benefits,dynamic nature and etc.Meanwhile,by means of field research,it points out that the archives management of private college in archives consciousness,rules and regulations,archives institutions and infrastructure,talent team construction and information construction there still exist a disadvantage,then analyses the deep reason of limiting the development of archives management in private college on the basis of the private college itself and relevant administrative government,including mainly the weak consciousness of archives management,the inferior school-running level,the lack of relevant laws and regulations as well as the guidance of relevant administrative department.In order to improve the level of management in private college and perfect the archives management,Especially for this kind of private college which has shown itsdesiring for doing archives work well,this paper puts forward the followingSuggestions:Firstly,to promote the archives consciousness of the founders,seniormanagement and teachers as well as students from private college.Secondly,to improve and perfect the system of law and regulations from the relevant administrative departments and private college itself.Thirdly,the archives administrative department should positively provide effective guidance and service with the principle of autonomy and practicality of private college.Fourthly,to enhance archival internal governance structure of private college from archival organization structure and information construction in college's own situation.Fifthly,to promote the talent team construction of archivists in private college from the talent introduction,human resources utilizing and talent training.Sixthly,to boost the archives edition and research of private college in accordance with the requirement of college itself and society.
