The main purpose of the study is to investigate the status of teachers' professional identity and job satisfaction on the university teachers in Changsha and the relationship between teachers' professional identity , job satisfaction and turnover intention .Through the t test, variance analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, testing of mediating effects, path analysis, we focus on the characteristic of teachers' professional identity and job satisfaction and the relationship between teachers' professional identity , job satisfaction and turnover intention.The results showed that:(1)The overall level of university teacher's professional identity is positive . There are significant differences on teachers ' professional identity in some demography variables . University teachers who are from 20-29 years old have the lowest score and teachers who are from 40-49 years old have the highest score. Assistant get the lowest score .The teacher whose monthly salary is lower than 2000RMB have the lowest score. There is no significant difference on teachers' professional identity in gender, age, marriage, education experiences .(2) The overall level of university teacher's job satisfaction is positive, but it was lower in welfare and reward and university management than medium . There are significant differences on job satisfaction in some demography variables. The teachers who worked more than 20 years have the highest score and the teachers who work less than 5 years get the lowest score. The teacher whose monthly salary is lower than 2000RMB have the lowest score and the teacher whose monthly salary is more than 5000RMB have the highest score. There is no significant difference on job satisfaction in gender, age, rank, education experience, marriage.(3)There is significant positive correlation between teachers ' professional identity and job satisfaction. teachers ' professional identity and job satisfaction have significant prediction ability to the turnover intention . Job satisfaction is also an intermediary variable factor to teachers' professional identity.
