Nowadays our country attach great importance to the construction of college counselor team and have issued files stating that the great important mission of college counselors is to carry out ideological and political education.But now there is a deviation in the opinion of college counselors' career between our society and universities,and there is a serious lack of the understanding of the importance of ideological and political education of college students,leading to a lot of limitations on the development of college counselors' personal future.Taking Weifang Institute of Science and Technology as an example,this paper focuses on the status of college counselors' professional identity through questionnaire survey and literature method,and explores the relationship between professional identity,job satisfaction and turnover intention of the college counselors as well as how to improve the current situation,providing realistic basis for related management policy of teachers.Around this goal,this paper makes a questionnaire survey on 172 counselors of the 11 secondary schools in Weifang Institute of Science and Technology,and after processing the data through SPSS22.0 the results are as follows.Firstly,the professional identity of the counselors in this college is high,and so as to its four factors.Secondly,there are no significant differences in the counselors' professional identity in this college between genders,teaching objects,years of teaching,academic level,professional title,wage level and so on.Thirdly,in the aspect of the relationship between job satisfaction,turnover intention and professional identity of the counselors in this college,job satisfaction has reverse prediction function on turnover intention and the higher counselors' satisfaction to their career is,the lower their willingness to leave the unit or organization is.Counselors'professional identity has reverse prediction function on turnover intention,while the higher the identity and participation of the counselors to the unit or organization is,the higher the professional identity is and the lower the willingness to leave the unit or organization is.Finally,combining with the data collected through the questionnaire and my actual work experience,this paper provides forward advice on how to improve the job satisfaction of counselors,reduce the job burnout and turnover intention from three aspects so as to promote this college's counselor team construction.
