The Pursue And Appearance Of Children's World

Children is the hope and concentration of not only family but also society and the whole nation. As growing in different ethnic culture, children are, to a great extent, determined by the rise and fall of nation. It seems that children's life, supported by their parents, at present are happy, however, their own spirit world is being infringed by obeying adult's will, exactly, being faded away. Any new children's view is based on old ones, thus, it is so helpful for us to realize the evolvement history of different views of children, so as to develop the useful whereas discard the useless.The "children-oriented" view had been given birth to in China in 1920s, exactly, over "May fourth" new culture movement, were chosen as the research object in this study, and this dissertation took the Chunhui secondary school along "Baima Lake" in Shangyu city, Zhejiang province for example. At that time, "Baima Lake" was formed special educational group, who worked on advocating "child-oriented" view as well as practiced it in education. This dissertation took the history of education happened in "Baima Lake" as "typical phenomenon" and unearthed some "children educational phenomenon" of it for generalized its common characteristics of children's view and children's education more vividly.This dissertation consisted of five parts: first part is introduction. Second part is about the history and social background of "Baima Lake". In this part, the characteristics of that times embodied in children's education of "Baima Lake" is shown under integration of different "children-oriented" view in oriental and western world in 1920s. Of primary concern of part three is about the evocation of "children-oriented" view in theory by "Baima Lake" , which consisted of the establishment of "children-oriented" view, the faith of love to children and giving of excellent culture heritage to children. The fourth part mainly discussed the educational practice to "children-oriented" view in Chunhui secondary school, which included two parts: the principle of dignity and care to children and prevention of invasion of children's culture. Last part is about the generalization of characteristics of children's educational view of "Baima Lake" .
