Nowadays, the technology of information is being developed rapidly, as the vector of information, language needs a revolution adapting with the infonnation age in order to promote the modernization of language. As one of the most important tools in social intercourse, only the highly standard language can adapt to the needs of the information society. The mixture usage of literary style and vernacular Chinese style will not conform to the language modernization and the language standardization. However, this phenomenon prevails in the Chinese language teaching of the middle school. In recent years, middle school students who wrote compositions in literary style in the college entrance examination were encouraged and the tendency of using literary style is more and more intensely, which is worth of being paid attention. What kind of harm does this mixture phenomenon may cause? It will not do good to stimulate students' learning interests, mislead to students' language use and cause a backwards, disobey the related national language laws, not beneficial to the information processing of Chinese and to the globalization of the Mandarin Chinese. The reasons why some people choose the mixture use of the literary style and vernacular Chinese style are actually unreasonable. They believe that the written form and the oral form could disagree with each other. This kind of mixture will inherit traditional culture and the senior scholars' language style, meet the classical elegance and the rhetoric needs and manifest the core duty in the education creativity encouragement. We offer the following advice on the mixture of classical Chinese and modern Chinese in our Chinese education: firstly, develop the modern written language which agrees with the modernism because the modernization of the written language will be full of life. Secondly, strengthen the conscious of standardized Chinese to make the Chinese education the pioneer of the standardization of language. Thirdly, continue to popularize Mandarin Chinese to make it the career language for teachers and the campus language for schools. Fourthly, correctly settle the relationship between the study of classical Chinese and that of modern Chinese because the aim of learning classical Chinese is not for students to write articles in classical Chinese and learning the classical Chinese and write articles in classical Chinese are not the same. Fifthly, to further perfect the Chinese textbooks and make necessary modification to those which is not standardized and thus the textbooks can achieve the highest level of language standardization.
