This paper, based on theories of modern pedagogy, dialogue instruction and new curriculum ideas, integrates modes or methods in practical Chinese language teaching with a view to investigating a new and feasible one, that is, to make the dialogue Chinese language teaching theory do by composing and performing texbook dramas. Directed by dialogue theories, such a traditional teaching and learning activity shall take on a new look and open another door for current teaching modes.In the paper, the author attempts to combine dialogue ideas and the practices of composing and performing textbook dramas in chass, with the latter as a cutting point. In concrete analyses, empty theories and modes are carefully avoided. Instead, the author mixes theories into practical reading methods, and by eeking examples and proofs, comcludes dialectically that composing and performing textbook drama is the presentation of the theory and practice of dialogue Chinese language teaching.The paper consists of five parts: introduction, conclusion and three chapters in the body.In yntroduction, main theoretical bases and perspectives of the paper are briefly discussed.Chapter 1: the applicating of dialogue theories in Chinese language teaching.This part is composed of five sections,i.e,a sketch of the dialogue teaching theory, and consequently connotations, characteristics, modes and avvantages of the dialogue Chinese language teaching theory.Chapter 2: composing and performing textbook dramas and dialogue Chinese language teaching. What the textbook drana is, and its significance in Chinese language teaching are explained. In addition, by collecting concrete evidences, it has proved that the three aspects of composing, performing and evaluating textbook drama are forms of presentation in dialogue Chinese language teaching.Chapter 3: rational analyses of composing and performing textbook dramas and case study. This chapter focuses on rational analyses of the three aspects of principles of composing textbook dramas, forms of performanceaand standards for evaluation the textbook dramas. Moreover, through case studies, the author goes further to verify the composing principles, performance forms and the evaluation standards.In the last part, a summary of main points is drawn.
