This paper is about teachers' employment dynamic. It focuses not on the construction and the discussion of "what teachers should be", which is always concerned by people engaging in the study on teachers, but on surveys and analysis of "what teachers actually be", which has usually been neglected but is closely related to the professional development and the life quality of teachers. The theory on the development of teachers' professionalization constructed with little knowledge about teachers' employment dynamic and their state of living is empty and powerless, because a grand theory and the construction of a universal law can not be divorced from practices. Therefore, the exploration of teachers' employment dynamic is an effective way to promote the development of teachers' professionalization and enhance their life quality. This study, taking the city of Chang Sha, Hunan Province as an example, investigates the employment dynamic of this city' s primary school teachers. The result shows that the employment dynamic of primary school teachers in Chang Sha City is not ideal. One problem is that their intention of changing occupations is quite obvious. According to the status quo, the author analyzes reasons from the aspects of society, community and individuals, and explores fundamental factors from the cultural aspect. At last, she proposes measures for improvement from four aspects: the organization and construction of schools, the security of school systems' operation, the effectiveness of improving teachers' training and the guidance for teachers to establish correct values.
