Instructing of experiment is an important part of middle school chemistry instruction. As a professional ability, chemistry experimental ability of middle school teacher is a professional literacy to qualify for chemistry instruction. In order to provide useful reference for teachers' professional development, the author carried on this research with his interest.This paper can be divided into three parts:First, this paper introduces the concept of Professionally Chemistry Experimental Ability of Middle School Teachers and discusses the content, elements, structure and levels of the new concept.The next part gives a research on the professionally chemistry experimental ability of students who major in chemistry from normal university according to the theory of Professionally Chemistry Experimental Ability of Middle School Teachers. The results show that students from normal university are proved to be with some degree of chemistry experimental ability varies.The narrative study finds that chemistry experimental ability of middle school teacher is of great differences. The approach of attaining the ability is complex and the structure of the ability is complicated.
