As basic teacher's professional organization, the teaching and research group plays an important role in guaranteeing instruction quality and promoting teacher development. With the increasing strength on the curriculum reform, various challenges and problems teachers are faced with in the class need solving by means of team working. Thus, more and more attention is put to the teaching and research group building. However, in actual daily instruction, the effect and efficiency of teaching and research groups are far from satisfactory and need improving. Lacking of concern for knowledge inheriting and knowledge development leads to the fall of instruction and research quality because of the retirement and transfer of experienced teachers and to the trouble in adjustment when teachers face new requirements and challenges. So focusing on what excellent teaching and research groups have achieved, summarizing their work frame and analyzing the factors will facilitate other ordinary teaching and research groups to learn from the advanced and to improve their work.This dissertation makes an attempt to explain why the excellent teaching and research groups can maintain their advantages. Through follow-up observation of their activities, interviewing related teachers and reading concerned materials, the author tries to picture the states quo, summarize the frame and analyze the factors on knowledge inheriting and knowledge development of the excellent teaching and research groups so that concerned suggestions can be mentioned to improve it. This dissertation is aimed at enriching related research and providing some clues to improve their work.Based on the questions mentioned above, after the introduction of the background, meaning, methods, etc. about the research and also the core concepts definition, this dissertation makes a systematic summary on the states quo and frame on knowledge inheriting and knowledge development. Thus, this dissertation concerns the analysis on the factors from the level of teacher, sub-group, teaching and research group and school. And after that, it also concerns the suggestions to improve the work from the level of teacher, sub-group, teaching and research group, school and the school of teacher education in local places.
