Research On The Entrepreneurial Environment Of College Students In Zhejiang Province

In the past two decades, the economic globalization and new economy have provided good opportunities for entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship activities have been an important part of the world today. In China, with the pressure of employment growing, more and more college students start a business beginning, and it has attracted widespread concern in society. Entrepreneurial environment is important for entrepreneurs, and good entrepreneurial environment is the prerequisite to achieve the entrepreneurial success, so how to provide a good entrepreneurial environment for college student entrepreneurs has become an urgent problem that has to be resolved. We research on the entrepreneurial environment of college students in Zhejiang province, so as to supply the government with some guidelines in improving the entrepreneurial environment of college students.In this paper, we firstly review entrepreneurship theories and entrepreneurial environment theories, and define the college student entrepreneurship. Then we describe the background and current situation of college student entrepreneurship activities in Zhejiang province, and sum up three types of college student entrepreneurship: part-time entrepreneurship; drop-out entrepreneurship; after-college entrepreneurship. Afterward, through consulting other research results of entrepreneurial environment in the past and the actuality of college student entrepreneurship, we establish the evaluation index system for the entrepreneurial environment of college students in Zhejiang province, and amend the system by the method of Delphi. The final evaluation index system has five first grade indexes and thirty-three secondary indexes. According to this evaluation index system, we survey 72 college student entrepreneurs in Zhejiang province through questionnaire and interview methods, and get the specific evaluation scores. Then we do statistics analysis of the data, and find that the present entrepreneurial environment matches not well with the ideal environment that pursuit by entrepreneurs. There are some dislocations for the government to build the good entrepreneurial environment of college students. At last, some useful countermeasures and suggestions are provided to improve the entrepreneurial environment of college students. It can be from the policy environment, fund environment and entrepreneurship education environment to improve the entrepreneurial environment.
