The Comparative Study On The Current Development Situation Of Sport Industry Between Beijing And Seoul

Sport industry is called "sunrise industry" in many countries and it has become the main department in many countries and areas. After the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, Seoul sport industry developed quickly. Capital Beijing is the political, economic and cultural center of China, there're lots of advantages of the development of sport industry. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will bring many good chances for Beijing sport industry.China and Korea have a close relation in history. Two countries are in the east of Asia, the cultures in the two are alike. Beijing and Seoul both are the capitals of China and Korea and both are the holding cities of the Olympic Games. It's possible to compare the current development situation of sport industry in two cities. Through the comparison we will the differences of sport industry between the two cities.The research uses the method of documentary, comparison and logic analysis.Through the comparison, the research gets following conclusions: 1. The sport industry in Korea begins earlier than China. Both countries start the sport industry with sport goods. But now the development direction is from sport goods to sport service. 2. The classification of sport industry in China is based on the structure and the connection with other industry. In Korea it is based on the state of goods that sport industry offers. Though the classification angles are different the contents are mostly the same. 3. The sport industry is in charge of the department that government chooses in both countries. 4. The scale of sport industry in Korea is bigger than Beijing. 5. The output value of sport goods is different in two cities. 6. The excellent enterprises in two cities are mainly producing enterprises and the enterprises in Seoul produce more variety goods than Beijing's. 7. The sport events in Beijing is more developed in Beijing than Seoul. The proportion of sport population in Beijing is bigger than Seoul. The quantity of professional clubs in Beijing is more than Seoul. The management items of commercial clubs in Seoul have a larger assortment than that in Beijing. 8. The lottery of Seoul issues earlier than Beijing. And the lottery categories in Seoul are less than Beijing. The proportion of lottery public welfare fund is close and the fund is used to develop the sport causes.
