Comprehensive practice activity course is a kind of practical knowledge application curriculum which based on students' direct social experiences and their own life. Comprehensive practice activity course has been brought as a required course into the system of school courses in the 21st century basic educational curriculum reform. It pays emphasis on student's innovative and practical ability. It is also a bright point and an important part of new curriculum reform in China. But with the development of new curriculum reform, the development of comprehensive practice activity course has being lost proper energy gradually, and many problems exist in some comprehensive practice activity courses because of insufficiency in certain cognitions and operations. In this case, the developing prospect of comprehensive practice activity curriculum makes us worrying. We need find a pattern urgently which not only be able to carry through the spirit of the new curriculum reform absolutely but also has the feasibility. With this pattern, we can advance comprehensive practice activity curriculum effectively .Comprehensive Practice Base is a very good advancing pattern.The main teaching form is "activity teaching method" in the comprehensive practice base. It emphasizes students' personal experience and asks students participating in various activities positively. Students can discover problems and solve the problems through activities such as doing, investigation, experiment, exploration, service, work, and so on. These activities also give students the chance to experience life, and improve their initiative and practical ability. Through establishing different kind of base, the sense of students' social responsibility can be cultivated by enhancing the relationship of school and society. We can say, the construction of the comprehensive practical activities base is a normalized infrastructure construction. The paper mainly puts forward personal viewabout the connotation of the comprehensive practical activities base; the necessity of constructing the base; the curriculum promoting models and its summarized experience of the base; and the operational quality assessment of it.
