The basic education curriculum reform stipulates that cultivating students with comprehensive practical ability is an important education goal in the new era.The physics textbook in Jiangsu province proposed to set up comprehensive practice activity to improve students' comprehensive practical ability in physics.However,due to the lack of scientific and objective evaluation methods for the implementation of comprehensive practice activities in junior high school physics,to a certain extent,it has affected the emphasis and effective development of this part of teaching.As a whole-process education evaluation model,the CIPP model provides decision-making improvements for teaching through context evaluation,input evaluation,process evaluation,and product evaluation,highlighting the comprehensive,dynamic,and diversified evaluation,and providing new ideas for comprehensive practice activity evaluation.On the basis of extensive study of relevant literature and materials,this paper absorbs relevant research results.First,it sorts out the concept and connotation of comprehensive practice activity,the basic connotation of the CIPP model,analyzes the predecessors' existing practice cases about the two,and defines the appropriateness of the CIPP model and the evaluation of comprehensive practice activity.Secondly,through self-compiled questionnaires,this paper learns from junior high school physics teachers about the current dilemma of physics comprehensive practice activity evaluation.Thirdly,it discusses the principles of the evaluation of comprehensive practice activity,and then designs an evaluation system based on the CIPP model,pointing the four links of the CIPP model to the evaluation of teaching objectives,the evaluation of teaching programs,the evaluation of teaching processes,and the evaluation of teaching products.Fourth,the comprehensive practice activity "self-made steelyard" was selected to conduct specific evaluation practices and obtain evaluation feedback information.It is found that the advantage of the CIPP model is that its multiple perspectives can provide comprehensive and detailed judgments for comprehensive practice activity and continuously improve the teaching activities of teachers and students.The disadvantage is that the specific operation is relatively cumbersome and complicated,and the excessive evaluation content lacks strong pertinence.In the end,this paper proposes improvement suggestions for the shortcomings of practice.
