Today, the information technology in the worldwide profoundly impacts on the human's study, work and life. The information technology has become an important sign of measuring a country or region's modernization level and comprehensive national strength. Education is the foundation for building a country; the information technology has the most important and distinctive characteristics of the times of the modern education. Under such big background, being in the economic, social, science and technology, education chain ring, the secondary vocational education has also to conform to the trend of information technology. We must use the modern information technology to reform the current vocational education, from the macro education planning, education strategy, education management to the study of micro-environment, learning, curriculum, teaching, assessment mode. Only in this way, we can grasp the unlimited opportunities that the information technology brings us and accomplish the historic change of the vocational education.The object of study in this paper is the computer discipline of secondary vocational schools. This paper mainly discusses the study of the information technology teaching mode in the Specialty Teaching of Computer Application in practice, attempting to reform the current traditional modes of teaching, building a computer information technology-teaching mode for the secondary vocational schools.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is to analyze the unreasonable situation of the current structure in the computer personnel training. One of the main reasons is that the computer personnel training in the secondary vocational school did not meet the needs of the community. From this the author led in the necessity of studying the subject. The second part is to deal with the theoretical basis of information teaching mode. The third part is to sum up the current status of the computer teaching in the secondary vocational schools, and to point to the direction of the information-based teaching mode reform through listening the lecture and analyzing the evaluated data. The fourth part is to study the application of some typical mode of the information technology teaching in Computer Courses of the secondary vocational schools in practice. The fifth part is to summarize the results of the practical research and put forward some proposals of teaching mode reform.The practical significance of this paper is to provide the basis of reality for the computer science-teaching mode of the secondary vocational schools on the basis of the study.
