With the advent of the Information Age and development of modern education, profound changes have taken place in the role of teachers ranging from their characteristics to functions. A new issue confronting teachers today is how to realize successful transformation in order to achieve professional development at the background of educational informationization. Improving University teachers standard of information literacy and building new quality capacity structure which is compatible with educational reform and development of the Times are the keys of teachers successful transformation in the Information Age as well as indispensable factors underpinning their role transformation. At present, from the State to universities, educational administrative and organizing institutions at all levels attach great importance to strengthen IT training among teachers in order to improve their standards of information literacy. Nevertheless, the current IT training has a series of problems, such as in terms of context, technology prevails implementation, the training mode is simple and tracking guidance is too weak while in terms of training objects, little concern is given to the combination with educational practices, training of IT concept, guidance for transformation of educational concepts as well as introduction of new educational mode. These all result in unsatisfactory guidance of IT training to teachers role transformation. The main aim and meaning of this article is how to incorporate more extensive connotation of information literacy and vocational guidance of role transformation into the IT training thus making it not only the transmitter but also experimental plot of new educational mode and impetus of their role transformation.The article consists of three parts, including seven chapters to illustrate its main idea.In the first part(from Chapter 2 to 4),through the analysis of overseas and domestic documents, the researcher illustrates the role transformation of teachers and the current situation in relative areas regarding information literacy, and on the basis of this, carry out comprehensive analysis of the correlations between information literacy and role transformation, thus, lay down the main theoretical basis of this article - -building a new quality capacity structure of teachers role with teachers information literacy as the backbone.In the second part(Chapter 5), the author carry out analysis and research of the current Information literacy training in universities, bring forward the problems and defects in training objects, context setup, training mode, effect transition and structure of personnel constitution and capacity, laying a foundation for the building of all dimensional new type information literacy training system.The third part (Chapter 6 and Chapter 7) is the main point of the article. On the basis of the former two parts, the author put forward the thoughts on building solutions to new-typed teacher information literacy training. That is, integrating two main aims of improving teacher s information literacy and promoting teacher s role transformation, combining various training mode, carry out systematic integration training in the way of regrouping and delamination, transforming the effects, and overall systematic design for IT training. Combining the teacher s IT training work of the Military Transportation Institute in 2007, the new type solution of the teacher s information literacy training was preparatory studied and practisedAt last, the eighth chapter makes a conclusion of the whole article, further nail down the conclusion and point out its innovation and defects.
