The sport of tennis is one of the important contents in the P.E and health curriculum. But the situation of the tennis development in the university is unoptimistic, because it needs high skill, strict collective spirit and net confront with each other, with the university students'own physical limitation and the sports ability restriction, at the same time the less affection and participation for the tennis sport, in the certain degree affect the popularization and development of the tennis sport in the universities. This article unifies my school tennis teaching the reality, through carries on"the independent teaching"in my school tennis option class teaching the pattern experiment, summarizes one kind relatively more vivid, the system, the science effective tennis educational model, provides some models and the reference for the university tennis teaching.In this article it is mainly used the literature material method, the investigation and questionnaire method, the expert interview method, the mathematical statistic method and the teaching experiment method. According to the statistical analysis using the SPSS11.0 software to the obtained mass data of the comparison class and the experimental class, it draws the following conclusions:1. Through the experimental study of"autonomy teaching"in the university tennis class, it is indicated that the mastering of the skills, the understanding of the theoretical knowledge, and the improvement of the physique of the students in experimental class surpass those in the comparison class. It shows that the implementation of"autonomy teaching"in the university tennis class is feasible and effective.2. Through the analysis on the questionnaires, it's discovered that the improvement of the interest on playing tennis, the initiative participation consciousness, and the self-confidence of the students in experimental class is higher than those in comparison class. It has also built the good foundation for the formation of good habits and correct physical exercise attitudes in the lifelong term.3. Through the formulation and implementation of the emotion goal in the experiment of"the autonomy teaching", with the attention on the excavation of emotional elements, it's discovered that the improvement of the social communication ability, the students'positive mood is stimulated to, has form one kind of"emotional power", which motivates them to receive twice the result with half the effort with the mastering and improving of the knowledge and skill.
