Since the autumn of 2007, the ordinary high school in our province started a new experimental courses. To high school art courses of the areas of basic education will face new opportunities and challenges. In accordance with the requirements of the new curriculum, to set up art appreciation class in an ordinary high school is one of the eight fields of study compulsory courses.It can enhance the quality of education .It is an important measure to broad cultural horizons of students, to cultivate noble values ,the development of sound character , and other aspects of great significance. Faced with the new curriculum, how do our teachers adapt to the new ways and means of teaching time changes? This should be thought by all the art teachers. Art Appreciation for high school then, how in the shortest possible time so that students understand works, feel the works convey the intent of the author? Require teachers to change the traditional concept of teaching from the teaching of knowledge, changes in the provision of information resources and the designers, curriculum development, student learning guide, collaborators, such as multiple roles. Students are learning that the main body of the significance of the initiative is to construct. Above view is that constructivist learning theory stresses, it is also the theoretical basis for this. Why should high school art appreciation constructivism theory as the basis? I think its main purpose and meaning is based on all student-centered, from the student reality, people-oriented, and strengthen their sense of the work expressed by the awareness and understanding, to students full autonomy, cooperation, the exchange of opportunity and the platform so that in practice, and improve the aesthetic ability to identify and foster independent thinking and life-long learning. This paper will survey the way, teaching high school art appreciation status, uses images with sound resources, non-ferrous metals, such as physical features, combined with appreciation of teaching practice, on how to Constructivist Teaching design theory to infiltrate into actual teaching, and gave details Construction of the origin of the theory and ideas based on the theory and practice of instructional design ideas, teaching bold attempt to fundamentally solve the appreciation of a single method of teaching traditional means of ideological issues such asaging,and achieved initial results, and proved in practice Constructivist Teaching design theory and creative, advanced, and feasibility. Although constructivist learning theory hasn't been so long, but this theory once applied to the actual teaching has shown strong vitality, and have a positive impact on, more and more schools combining features from the university essence of the Theory of Constructivism and discard the traditional teaching the inadequacy of exploring reform and development, and science education students new ways to improve the quality and promote China's development of the cause of basic education.
