This article probes into the course of high school art appreciation of the promoting function of art from the Angle of new curriculum reform. Present high school art appreciation teaching separates from specialized teaching. Many high school are ignoring the important position of art appreciation, art appreciation cannot achieve the function of aesthetic education and understanding. Especially in the specialized entrance exam of the university teaching only by mechanical system teaching methods.
