The extension of Chinese learning is equal to that of the living. Reading is the center of Chinese learning. According to think creatively by himself, the reader can understand the meaning of the text.In view of the status quo and problems in the current secondary reading teaching, we use the positive initiative, meaning construction,social interaction and other theories in Constructivist Learning Theory to look at the crux of reading teaching .It undoubtedly has notable significance .It can help us correct some current errors in reading teaching and stimulate students in active learning .At the same time ,it can improve teaching efficiency and train students"ability to read .And then it enhances their language attainments.This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is about the status quo and problems in the secondary language reading teaching .The second chapter explains the enlightenment that Constructivist Learning Theory gives to the current reading teaching .It focuses on the correlation between the two ,belonging to theoretical study. The third chapter analyzes the method of reading teaching .It researches into concrete measures including personalized reading, situation reading ,diversifled reading and creative reading.
