In recent years the survey shows that part of students meet certain degree difficulty in learning chemistry after they enter senior high school, including some students who are good at chemistry in junior middle school. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, but main origin lies in that senior and junior high school chemistry course teaching linking up is not handled properly. Senior one is a very important stage in which high school carries forward in a new paragraph. Since junior and senior high school chemistry teachers are short of exchange, senior high school chemistry teachers do not know about teaching methods in junior middle school very much, which leads to junior and senior high school chemistry teaching out of joint very seriously. In some local senior high school, student polarization has appeared too early to as they have the first school term in senior 1, so the school has to carry out the separation. From a long-termly point of view, this has been of disadvantage to development, and it has also gone against the target of the new course reforming.This thesis is made up of six parts. Part 1 puts forward the problem,setting out expounding the urgency and importance of studying senior one linking up with junior middle school in chemistry course teaching; Part II clarifies the present situation of how senior one students are getting along with chemisty through questionaires, and meanwhile, it gives the objective analysis to result; Part III states briefly the theory basis of studying chemistry course teaching; Part IV compares differences in psychological development between junior and senior middle school students from the educational psychology angle; Part V emphatically analyses that under the new course, there exists the comparatively obvious difference in chemistry course teaching between junior and senior middle school. This difference is embodied in mainly the changes of high school chemistry course teaching targets, the changes of teacher teaching methods , the changes in ways of learning, learning methods , academic environment, and studying rhythm etc. Part VI emphatically sets forth the approach making the junior and senior high school chemistry teaching linking up, which is mainly from the following six aspects: (1) the knowledge inheritance composes in reply (2) various teaching techniques and teaching methods linking up (3) teacher and student emotion linking up (4)making the student form interest for studies (5) turning out students' learning methods (6) developing fine individual mental characteristics of students etc.As said or narrated above, senior and junior high school chemistry teaching linking up in every aspect, should be complement to each other and be each other's promotion. It is necessary to pay more attention to their inner link seriously in teaching practice. In particular, guiding in learning methods should be carried out in classroom teaching. The development of ability should run through entire teaching process. At the same time, we also ought to see that, that senior and junior high school teaching linking up is common teaching mission in different subjects, which requires that every teacher in different subjects make efforts together.
