The biology teaching of the full-time ordinary senior school is a high-level biology education based on nine-year compulsory education. However, there is a wide gap between junior school with senior high school, due to the few exchange and the gradual separation between them. Besides, senior school course reform lags behind the junior middle school. Biology teachers in senior school know little about the new course reform and have mistaken ideas on students grown up under the new environment, which results that students will be very difficult to adapt to teaching content and teaching methods in senior school in the beginning, and be afraid to biology studying. Therefore, biology teaching in senior school must pay attention to this reality. How to add, convergence, and do a good preparation for the further study? All of these put a new requirement for biology teachers in senior school. This is not only a simple problem of just increasing, but also involve in teaching, learning, skills, values and other aspects, which is a systematic project. So the study on convergence between junior school with senior school is a need for teaching, a need for promoting teachers' growth too.This article includes five parts. Part 1 sets out expounding the urgency and importance of studying senior school linking up with junior school in biology course teaching; Part II states briefly the theory basis of studying biology course teaching; Part III emphatically analyses that under the new course, there exists the comparatively obvious difference in biology course teaching between junior and senior middle school. This difference is embodied in mainly the changes in physical and mental development of students, the changes of teaching methods, the changes in ways of learning methods, changes in curriculum standards as well as the reply. Part IV emphatically sets forth the approach making the junior and senior high school biology teaehing linking up. The last part makes a general summary.
