With the rapid development of the field of higher education in our country, the teachers' group in higher education institutes are expanding at speed. In the meantime, the teachers' group shows a trend of having younger teachers. Since these young teachers become a main force in the higher education, as well as a new-born power in the academic affairs of higher education, their working condition may directly affect the quality of the higher education and the prospect of its development. This paper takes the Taizhou College young teachers as the target group for this research; it applies multiple research methods such as questionnaire, formal or informal interviews to collect data. The data is examined with a mathematical statistic analysing system, and some conclusions are drawn towards the working condition of young teachers in higher education institutes. This paper also figures out eight reasons that have effect on young teachers' working condition, based on which some corresponding solutions are suggested on how to improve young teachers' working condition.There are four chapters in this paper. The first chapter states the rationale, target group, methodology and the framework of this research. The second chapter works statistically on and analyses the young teachers' working condition in terms of their teaching, their passion for the work, their creativity and pressure from the work, their profession moral, their interpersonal relationships and their attitude towards life. The third chapter analyses the reasons that influence young teachers' working condition in higher education institutes; and it categorises the reasons into five aspects, namely the mis-modelling of the profession moral, which is caused by the social value alteration, the heavy teaching and research work resulting from the higher education reformation, the incorrectness existing in the institutes' focuses and educational evaluation, the financial burden and family pressure in the daily life, and the poor personality as well as the difficulties in the interpersonal relationship. The forth chapter suggests three reasonable solutions on how to amend and improve young teachers' working condition in higher education institutes; the solutions are to establish positive social environment, to improve the system of institute administration, and to raise the quality of the teachers themselves.
