Research On Faculty Participation In Academic Governance In American Universities

As a preservation, dissemination, and application of knowledge, academic nature is the essence of university, also the logic of formation and development of the institution. The management of University's needs to follow its academic nature, gives full play to the teacher to participate in the academic governance showing university special characteristic.The truth is that the academic authority for faculty is not striking in our universities, and the mechanism for participating in academic governance is lagged. All this causes the university academic nature not to be clear.
