Comparing with the teacher in common college, the most obvious difference is that the teachers of vocational college are required to be double-typed, which requires the teacher to have the ability to supervise the students' practice as well as special knowledge. With the development of high education in our country, teachers' salary in both vocational and common college is highly increased, the occupation to be a teacher also becomes a hot profession. Meanwhile, the survey shows that the enthusiasm and satisfaction of the teacher in vocational college doesn't correspondingly improve, especially after the implementing of job subsidy system. Moreover, some teachers even get tiring and complaining feeling, which really affects the efficiency of their work and teaching quality.By means of empirical investigation, this article combines individual interview and literature research. By the data from the investigation, this essay tries to find the critical factors which surely affect the positivism of the teacher in vocational college. Moreover, it draws lessons from and uses the western stimulating theory, and puts forward the stimulating measures according to the vocational college. From the final investigation results, it can be easily seen that the five levels in Maslow' s needs hierarchy theory are co-existing, including material needs and high level self-realized needs. Meanwhile, the concepts and rules of management are the main factors which teachers in vocational college especially care about, but actually those problems have not won the approval of the teacher.On the base of analyzing the needs of the teacher in vocational college, this essay centers on the characters of vocational college, puts forward the countermeasures which are different to common college " basing on the characters of vocational college, stimulating the teachers' development; converting the concepts of evaluation, changing performance assessment to performance management; introducing career management, to build long-acting stimulating system."...
