"With the NMET competition getting more and more fierce, senior middle school students nowadays find themselves increasingly loaded with study pressure. Having served as a teacher for many years, the researcher has beening heard the students around complain about their tiredness of study and acute lack of enough time. Therefore it is quite necessary to study how the students manage their study time with corresponding suggestions put forward.The study focuses on 799 senior middle students of different genders, grades, classes, family origins. Besides, it's also taken into consideration whether they are boarders and how their parents educate them.We find that the differences are significant on their sense of time planning and time saving among the students of different genders, different classes and grades. This pattern also occurs to the students whose parents have adopted different educating ways. On the contrary, there are no such differences mong those of different origins, and so it is with the boarders and day students. At the same time ,we find there do exit significant differences among those of different genders and classes as far as efficency and passive study are concerned, which is quite opposite to the pattern related to those from different grades and family origins .Besides,no matter whether the students are boarders or not and no matter which way their parents adopt to educate them, we do not find significant differences considering these two items. At the end of this article, we give our suggestions to this phenomenon.
