Research On The Time Management Of The First Grade Junior Middle School Students In Kunming XX Middle School

Junior middle school students are moving into adolescence.Facing so complicated subjects and homework,they should have a better time management ability.More important,it is worthwhile to investigate these students how to spend and use their spare time after finishing the school curriculum and discuss relevant problems on time management.The study was mainly used to investigate 326 first-grade junior middle students in XX school,Kunming city,who was studies by questionnaire and interview.The main content of the research are as follows: the students' time management disposition;time management behavior;the sense of time efficacy.At the same time,current condition on their time management is revealed.In addition to discuss related problems and reasons,some suggestions are given to improve time management ability.The research shows as follows:Most of the students have a better sense of time value on time management disposition,but their sense of time control needs to be improved.As for time management behavior,it is a challenge for students to balance their time distribution,and their time utilization ratio is also a bit lower.About the sense of time efficacy,procrastinate,lack of concentration and self-discipline are the main factors to affect it.Meanwhile,parents education backgrounds,parenting pattern,and the main guardian would affect students' time management ability.Besides,students who spend less time on homework would have a better grade,but those who spend more time on watching TV on weekdays would get a lower score.In order to improve the time management ability of the first-grade junior middle school students,some suggestions are as follows: First,improve the self-control of time management.It is of great importance to solve the problem from the inner side.Then,strengthen the communication between school and parents.It's better for school to introduce more lectures related to time management,inviting teachers and parents to attend it.Furthermore,parents should improve their own ability on time management to set a good example.
