Time management disposition is that of a person抯 ability to manage the process of time made for rational planning and control, efficient arrangement and utHization of resources to improve utility ratio and efficiency. It is an important aspect of management psychology. We have researched 987 middle school students and the results of the factor analysis show that there are 4 factors affecting the time management disposition of the middle school students. They are plan characteristics, efficiency, activity assessment and time value. Their plan characteristics suggests a negative attitude, which shows that the students sense of planning is weak. But their disposition towards the other three factors is good. The rank of the boy students?evaluation is significantly lower than that of the girl students in the plan characteristics, activity assessment and time value. The students of the key middle schools rank lower than those of the other three types of schools in the plan characteristics. And on time value technical secondary school students rank the lowest. There are significant differences among the six grades in the four factors. There is a trend which shows that the rank of the junior students of the first and second grade is higher than that of the other grades in the three factors: plan characteristics, efficiency and time value. On the activity assessment, the junior and senior students of the first grade rank lower than those of the other grades. 345 middle school students are investigated in another study and the results of the analysis between the disposition of time management and subject grades show that efficiency is the most important factor that affects subject grades, which is well reflected in my third study. That can be found in the subject grades of girl students. Besides efficiency, the subject grades of the boy students are affected by the other two factors: plan characteristics and activity assessment. The subject grades of the ordinary middle school students are also affected by efficiency and time value. To some extent, these research results show that modern school management does have a great effect on students?individual time management and it permeates gradually into the students?learning achievements.
