Aerobics is the most popular bodybuilding gymnastics in the modern international community. It features both recreational connotation and gymnastic competition. It's the excellent athletic program for body and character building, for it's the combination of performance skills and physical capacity. To start the curriculum of aerobics in higher education schools could on one hand satisfy the student's need for fitness ,cultivate their skills and interest in exercise and further develop their habit for exercise;And on the other hand, could popularize the aerobics and enhance the people's gymnastic quality in China to realize the lifelong physical education and even further accelerate the actualization of the nationwide body-building plan. Nowadays, the calisthenics curriculum has been held widely among all universities and colleges in our country, and plays the most important role of enhancing the national health and serving the cultivating talents with high quality and innovation spirit. How to cultivate talents with innovation ability is a key subject of the educational reform of higher schools. With the improvement of the education quality in our country and the deepening of the reform of the education management system. Shandong Province is the one of the most important base where lots of talents have be cultivated, so it is very necessary to study the reform of calisthenics course of colleges and universities. On the basis of the survey over 40 undergraduate academies, the thesis investigated thirteen representative schools'aerobics classes in Shandong province, P.R. China and then educes the conclusion as follows:At present the Shandong Province ordinary university public sports body-building exercises curriculum teaches a course rate is high, and the teacher by the middle-aged teacher, teacher's title, the teaching seniority structure, the whole distribution is quite primarily reasonable, conforms to newly《The National Common and High School Sports Curriculum Teaching Instruction Outline》basically request, but also has specialized and the non-specialized graduation teacher's proportion is unreasonable; The course content is unitary, is arid; The teaching media and the teaching method tradition, the modern multimedia technologies application are not many; The teaching location facility is crude, the teacher equipment is imperfect; The inspection appraisal system is not very also perfect and so on questions.The thesis focuses on the analysis of body-building exercises curriculum of the universities in Shanxi Province, Fujian Province, Jiangsu Province up to 2006 by studying a lot of materials. It also made a contrastive analysis on the teachers'situation, the mean value of classes in each term, the indoor location situation of the universities in Shandong province. Discovered that Shandong Province is not big with other province's situation difference, explained the Shandong Province ordinary university public sports body-building exercises curriculum situation has the universality in the nation.The thesis, to these defects, bring forth the improvement ideas like these below: setting up the model of stratified classes in educating aerobics to the students on the basis of three self-determined selection of teaching programs; introducing major teachers and cultivate in-service aerobics tutor; optimizing the teaching content and applying the multi-media technology in the teaching process; building up poly-testing system; enlarging capital investment in the playgrounds and equipments. In a word, we need to forge an all-dimensional multi-tiered innovating aerobics teaching system on the lifelong learning idea to improve the aerobics education in colleges and cultivate the cross-century talents.
