Emotional Education In The Classical Poetry To The Middle School Student

Language is a highly humanity curriculum. The graceful prose in the textbooks is the products of authors'feeling and wisdom, containing a wealth of emotional factors. Classical poetry is the crystallization of our ancestors'wisdom and talent, condensing full of human feelings, embodying the fine tradition of the Chinese nation, but also assuming the important task of emotional education.This paper focuses on the need for emotional education in the implementation of teaching classical poetry. Firstly, Basing on the development of health education for the secondary and emotional education of the nation, this paper elaborates the contents of emotional education and its significance. It analyses the characteristics of the classical poetry and points out the defects in the classical poetry teaching in secondary schools and it also points out that emotional education is the needs of the healthy development, the responsibility of language and literature courses, and the special function of teaching classical poetry. Secondly, the paper excavates the main contents of the emotional education in the course of teaching classical poetry. It encourages that developing morality from carrying forward the quality of philanthropy, rational emotional character from pursuing of the spirit of reality, aesthetic judgment from feeling beauty. Then full- considering the students, this paper explores effective ways to infiltrating emotional education in the course. It fully embodies the humanity of the language and literature subjects, and reflects the"people-oriented" education philosophy. Emotional education in the classical poetry teaching still requires the teachers highly: Charisma and virtues; Loving traditional culture and education; Establishing positive teacher-student relationship; Familiar with knowledge of pedagogy and educational psychology.Referencing previous theory, this paper points out some defects in the classical poetry teaching in the middle school, and gives responsive ways .Hope the paper will draw inspirations to the emotional education in the secondary classical poetry teaching.
