Environmental education is an important part of quality-oriented education and it has become one of our country's educational goals at present. It is very necessary to adopt an effective method to promote environmental education. An important and concrete purpose of the new reform on elementary education courses is to change the old positive learning way and put forward project learning which means to participate positively. The combination of courses is one of the trends of the current curriculum development. By comparing environmental education and exploring teaching, we can find that they have many similar respects. So we combine environmental education and project together properly. The purpose is to develop project learning in environmental education, and promote the effective implementation of environmental education with a new learning way—project learning.The paper mainly discusses the origin, essence and development of environmental education, the deatures, basic concept and implementation of procedures of exploring teaching ,and analyzes the relationship between environmental education and exploring teaching. We comb the main contents that are emerged in the environmental education in the chemistry teaching. Then it introduces the significance, theoretical basis and adopted main methods of developing this task research. The experimental objects of the study are the students from Changqiao Middle School. We put forward the actual problems and the suggestion in the proceeding of carrying out the environmental education in the project learning at the basis of practicing.
