As the main channel and main position to cultivate the persons with ideal, morality, culture and self-discipline, ideological and political theory courses (IPTC) in colleges and universities play an important role in improving students' ideological quality and boosting students' all-around development. Guided by the center-government, new curriculum schemes of IPTC ("05" scheme) has been in full operation throughout the country from September 2006, it proves that The CPC Central Committee and the State Council pay great attention to the teaching of IPTC. It is very important to study student satisfaction of teaching of IPTC.Based on the Marxist Demand, the Marxism value theory, Marxist Theory about man's conscious dynamic role and Theory of Constructing a Harmonious Society of Socialism of the Communist Party of China, the study made and did the questionnaires of student satisfaction. After the data were collected, processed and analyzed by SPSS13.0, the following findings were obtained: the extremely satisfactory or satisfactory factor indexes are mainly teaching attitude, teachers who engaged in the lesson teaching of IPTC and teaching contents. The less satisfactory factor indexes are curriculum value, teaching method, teaching effect and teaching skills, and all of they have a significant correlation. In addition, student satisfaction is different on different background. The study analyzes the less satisfactory factor indexes and their reasons, and also gives some countermeasures and suggestion on how to promote student satisfaction of the teaching of IPTC from the sense of the course construction. They are high attention, strengthening management, renew ideas, innovation method, strengthening practical teaching, stabilizing teachers ' rank, constructing the cultural environment of campus and playing the role of advanced education of the Chinese Communist Party Organization.
