With the acceleration of Chinese urbanization recently, more and more Bouyei ethnic minority people have flooded into big cities and joined in the large labor force consisted of rural workers who are engaging in urbanization. Based on on-the-spot investigation, this research is about left-behind children's schoolwork in rural areas of Bouyei ethnic minority and takes Pingzhai Primary School in Guanling county of Guizhou Province as an example, introducing the current condition of Bouyei left-behind children's study and find out why it is always in a low lever, thus proposes countermeasure and suggestion for it.This paper is divided into five chapters to elaborate. The first one is an introduction, which introduces the origin, methods, related theories and significance of this research, outlines its current situation and analyzes its insufficiency. The second chapter shows the basic condition of Guanling county left-behind children. The third part moves to describe how is their schoolwork now, including their study purpose, extra activities, daily lives, attitude towards study, schoolwork achievements, etc. Chapter four makes an analysis on the factors which influence rural Bouyei left-behind children's schoolwork achievements. The factors refer to government, school, family and left-behind children themselves. And the countermeasures and suggestions for their schoolwork are given in the last part.
