| New curriculum has been used in grade one of senior high schools in Zhejiang province since September, 2006. The new curriculum will bring great changes over middle schools, including teaching aims, teaching thoughts, structure of curriculum, teaching methods, learning methods and accesses towards teachers and students.This essay designs a kind of access system for examining school teaching effect according to the score students get in examinations. The writer designs two questionnaires to investigate the real situations in the angle of physics teaching and physics learning in senior high schools. He tries to analyze data from general senior high schools in Ninghai County in latest four years. The purpose of it is to give suggestions as a reference material for leaders who are in charge of education in this county.This essay is made up of the following six parts:In section one, the writer introduces the background, theoretical and practical value of researching the essay and focuses on investigations about education at home and abroad.In section two, the writer designs an access program for examining educational effect according to the data offered by Teaching and Research Section in Ninghai county by comparing the scores in physics subject when students were entranced to study in senior high school with the scores which students got in their the national university entrance exam in physics subject in Ninghai county, Zhejiang province.In section three, the writer first describes his investigations into 41 physics teachers and 695 students separately. Then he analyses the data he got from these investigations by using software Excel and SPSS13. 0.In section four, the writer analyses the relative data students got in national university entrance exam in physics in Ninghai county from 2003 to 2007 carefully, then he compares the data with that of 23 key senior high schools in Ningbo, Zhejiang province in 2006 and 2007.In section five, the writer draws the following conclusions:1. On the base of analyzing these data, the writer designs an access system on the effect of physics teaching. By making use of it, the writer gives an access to the effect of physics teaching in national university entrance exam in Zhien senior high school and Taoyuan academy.2. On one hand, majority of physics teachers can understand the new thoughts in physics curriculum standard in senior high school, they can also realize the important role the research in physics teaching will play. On the other hand, they are not interested in research in physics teaching really, it is partly due to the pressure headmaster brings to them, partly due to a large amount of teaching they have to do. So far on, the most important way to improve teachers' professional skills and ability in physics teaching is one that experienced teachers guide the inexperienced and teachers explore teaching methods themselves and think about the lessons carefully after class. The teaching method that most teachers have been using are the traditional "feed duck" and the way of accessing whether a teacher is good or bad is to examine his professional knowledge.Students' sex and their learning ability play a remarkable effect in physics learning. After class, students have to finish a lot of exercises and reading reference books which are concerned with physics. They have to shoulder the great pressure of entering higher schools. His score in physics is the key to judging whether a student learns physics well or not. Thought of passing exam more or less prevents the spread of new curriculum.3. The detail data in physics such as rate of entrancing into famous universities, the rate of entrancing into ordinary universities and so on shows that Ninghai is worse than Ningbo. That shows something bad is happening. The writer analyses what causes that. In the last section, the writer summarizes thought of research, methods, strategies and views in physics teaching. At the same time, he also points out its limits of this research, the tendency and gives some suggestions about physics teaching in senior high school. |
