Under the background of knowledge economy society, teachers need to seek ways to deal with the growing knowledge. Meanwhile, China is experiencing a new round of education reform, which requires better teaching from the teachers. Thus, teachers should find new perspectives to improve their teaching efficiency. Under this situation, in the report, I studied the current situation of knowledge management and teaching efficiency of middle school teacher at first; then discussed the differences of knowledge management and teaching efficiency under different backgrounds; and further studied the relations of knowledge management and teaching efficiency and analyzed the predictive effects of knowledge management of teachers on their teaching efficiency; at last, according to the conclusions, gave specific and feasible suggestions for the reference of educational administrative departments, schools, teachers, and further researches on this field.For the researches, questionnaire was designed based on references of documents and revised according to the results of small scale tests. Through the questionnaires, 312 middle school teaches were investigated and first-hand data was obtained as a result. The data was processed adopting SPSS13.0 with major analytic methods such as Factor Analysis, Independent-Sample T Test, One-way Analysis of Variances, Pearson Correlation Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression, and etc.Through empirical investigation, five points were concluded: 1. The current knowledge management and teaching efficiency of middle school teachers are in medium above level or above; 2. The knowledge management of middle school teachers varies as influenced by education background, working year, and etc; 3. The teaching efficiency of teachers in middle schools differentiates due to different gender, age, education background, working year, and etc; 4. The better the knowledge management of middle school teachers is, the better their teaching efficiency will be; 5. Of the levels of knowledge management of teachers, the internationalization and application of knowledge is most explanative to the overall and different-level teaching efficiency of teachers.At last, according to the research conclusions, specific suggestions were given in this report. Suggestions to the educational administrative departments are: 1. to create a large environment for knowledge management, and boost the practice of knowledge management of middle school teachers; 2. to develop training courses, and give training to those that do not perform very well in teaching efficiency. Suggestions to schools are: 1. to care for the growth of teachers with low diploma; 2. to pay attention to the development of specialty of beginning teachers; 3. to stimulate the further development of teachers working for many years; 4. to be concerned about male teachers and improve their teaching efficiency; 5. to encourage the sharing of teaching experiences of teaches with the working years of 11-15 years and teachers with bachelor degrees; 6. to encourage teachers to conduct knowledge management, and boost their teaching efficiency. Suggestions to teachers are: 1. to have the sense of pursuing knowledge management; 2. to pay special attention to the improvement of the internalization and application of knowledge; 3. to improve the teaching evaluation. Suggestions to further researches are: 1. to discuss the situations of teachers in different fields or different educational phrases; 2. to further study teaching efficiency; 3. to have deeper researches on the motivating factors of knowledge management.
