In the drastic change of21st century, the competition of comprehensive national strength increasinglydepends on the development of education and technological innovation. The adults are the mainstay of thesocialist construction, and they are the main force to change science and technology into the socialproductive forces. Therefore, only the adult is to learn constantly, he will be the guider of the new era toprovide a steady of power for the rapid and healthy development of China’s socio-economics. However,our country lags behind in the development of adult education, poor communication not only exists withinthe adult education own system, but also within other educational systems. All levels and various types ofadult education are disjointed and lack effective convergence, which seriously affect the smoothadvancement of adult education. So it is urgent to explore an effective way to adapt to the development ofadult education in our country.The United Kingdom is called"the hometown of the world’s continuing education", its adulteducation has far-reaching impact on the development of adults in the West and around the world. TheUnited Kingdom began to explore and carry out credit accumulation and transfer system very early, afterdecades of evolution and brewing, the United Kingdom has formed a more perfect system of creditaccumulation and transfer. It has been proved that it played a very active role in promoting lifelong learning,widening adult participation in learning, promoting the flow of talents and so on.The development of mutual recognition mechanism of credit in adult education is an important part ofthe whole adult education, whether in theory or in practice, adult education should concern it.
