Prime Minister Wen made a very important speech on the National Vocational Education Conference which was held by the State Department in 2005. He mentioned that vocational education is the important foundation for national economic and social development and also is one of the crucial strategies of the education. As it were, it's very urgent to develop vocational education for the social and economical growth in China. However government has been emphasizing the vocational education advance, many educators can find no way out of dilemma, "students not to study, teachers fear to class", which has been popular in many middle vocational schools.Entering into the school, the real teaching condition doesn't make me disappointed. There are a few of teachers who are welcomed by their students and other teachers for their earnest and personalities. This study means to find out these teachers how to overcome the difficulties, and what characteristic they had, also how they develop the features.Three typical outstanding teachers were selected as object of the study from two middle vocational schools in order to find out the answers. I participated into their real teaching, observed their teaching classes, plus collected the student's evaluation by questionnaire and other teacher's. There are common features in their teaching : enthusiasm, devotion, clearness, plain,humorous language, teaching contents linked with real life, teachers and students fluent communication, students-gaining, order class.They shared not only the features in teaching, but in personalities: earnest, responsible, openhearted, integrated, considerable.Previous research on outstanding teachers pointed out that teacher's personalities should give great impact on students' development. But the teacher's personalities was formed by the great events in the life and throughout the whole life, so it's need to research the teachers' life journey.Anybody lives in specific situation, as anything is understood according to the particular condition. So to understand their teaching behavior and teaching idea should refer to the surroundings of the three teachers.The two middle vocational schools, however different location, have common things: firstly, one is that schools offer opportunities for teachers to develop themselves in profession or teaching; secondly, the other is that schools create the campus culture on continuous development.However the three outstanding teachers have been in dilemma, they offer students not only knowledge, but also great influence on students' personalities through their sincere love for students after I have been in long touch with them. But Each one's personalities is peculiar , difficult to copy , therefore, that is the reason that not every teacher can be a outstanding teachers.
