Dialogue has become a core concept to deal with the affairs in the 21 st century. The existence of dialogue offers the possibility of interpersonal communication, and communication provides the necessary conditions that mutual understanding needs. Dialogue reflects a democracy and equality relationship between people, which render a profound impact to all areas of the whole society, especially in the field of education. With the new round of basic education reform advanced, the transformation of classroom teaching also makes it tend to be an equality-based dialogue between teachers and students.In this paper, author collects, sorts and summarizes monographs, papers, surveys of dialogue teaching, dialogue teaching about the teacher-student relationship through all kinds of journals, books, newspapers, focus on core conception of dialogue, dialogue teaching, etc., combined with author’s own studying experience and observations in the United States, sorting out the current situation and characteristics of relationship between teacher and student under the current dialogue teaching of the United States. Based on that, author further refined the issue of new relationship between teacher and student in United State. Finally, it is return to the dilemma of current china dialogue teaching and discussed it.
